♥~Kidnapped By The Kitty Kat~♥ (Grimmjow Love) Chapter Eight: Nel tu

~Recap~

Nami’s dead. Grimmjow gave her a burial service. Ichigo’s back and it’s a month later… okie? Not like you have much say. Orihime has been captured now too, so Grimm Kitty is going to get his arm back. Yay!!

~Story Start~

“Ichigo!” Someone yelled as I jerked awake, gasping as I sat up, papers sticking to my face. “Damnit get up.”

“I’m sorry! I haven’t slept in days,” I yanked the papers away from my face. I turned to look at the one yelling at me, confused when I found Rukia there. “What are you doing here? I thought you were stationed in the World of the Living.”

“I am,” Rukia grabbed my arm and yanked me out of the research lab. “I’ve got something important to tell you, about those people that took Nami away.”

“Well tell me, already,” I cried, yanking her to a stop outside of the building.

“They’re called arrancar; some of them are called espada because they are a part of Aizen’s army. They took Orihime Inoue, one of the humans that came to rescue me when I was given a death sentence. She heals, too.”

“Oh jeez, you’ve got to be kidding me,” I groaned. “How many healers does this guy need? Nami’s ability to heal is much different then that human girl’s. I remember because Nami and I helped them out. While Nami just heals open wounds, Orihime can restore lost limbs. I suppose that’s why he chose Orihime to take, but I don’t get why he took Nami.”

“I don’t know,” Rukia cleared her throat taking off towards the gates to the Soul Society swiftly, dragging me along with her still. “Come on, we’ve got to get you to the W.O.L.”

“But I’ve still got to research everything!” I wailed as we waited for a hell butterfly to lead us through the gate to the W.O.L. “Please Rukia, I’ve still got work to do.”

“There’s no time for that,” She growled and followed the hell butterfly as it led us out. “It’s going to be hard enough getting you to get into a gigai.”

“I don’t need or want an artificial body! I want and NEED to finish my research.” I growled as she pulled my in.

~Kisuke Urahara’s Shop~

“Ichigo, come on out now so we can see,” Rukia insisted as I hid inside Kisuke’s room.

“No! I look stupid,” I called back, glaring down at the white sundress I wore, my red hair tied in a side ponytail. I glanced up in the mirror, frowning at the messiness of the hairstyle and then glared at the bangs I usually tucked behind my ear. “Rukia, this is horrible!”

“No it’s not,” Rukia growled as she yanked the door open. Her eyes widened, “Oh you look adorable! Mr. Urahara you picked a pretty good one this time.”

“Personally, I hate it, but I’ll go with this one.” I muttered, squeezing past Rukia and coming out of room. I spun around once, showing off the dress for Kisuke, before frowning at him, “You know, Nami would kill you if she knew you were making me do this.”

“Of course she would,” Kisuke chuckled. “I’ve sent Yoruichi out to find Renji so you three can go to Hueco Mundo.”

“How exactly are we going to get there?” I growled gently, frowning at the blonde man beneath the hat.

Kisuke just smiled as Renji entered in his gigai as well, grinning at me like a big damn idiot. I moved towards me, looking ready to give me a hug but I glared at him, a dangerous expression on my face. “I’m not in a good mood, Renji Abarai, don’t even try to touch me.”

Renji looked at Rukia for a confirmation and she nodded, “Yeah, she’s not too happy about any of this. She’d prefer to be wheeling around in that chair typing on a bunch of keyboards then going to Hueco Mundo to get Nami and Orihime back.”

“I feel sorry for her then,” He chuckled a little bit, reaching over for a mod soul and popping it in his mouth. When his body fell over and just laid there, staring at the ceiling, I rolled my eyes.

“I’m guessing your mod soul is a bit of a lazy-ass,” I scoffed at it, getting a glare in return from the gigai.

“About as lazy as your ass,” Renji growled. “What mod soul are you using?”

“I have no idea,” I sighed, holding my hand out for Rukia to pass me the mod soul and popped it in my mouth when she put it in my hand. When my body fell over and bounced back up, bouncing on her toes and giggling a rather bubbly laugh, I face palmed. “You… have got… to be kidding me.”

“That one is my favorite,” Rukia smirked at me, popping another mod soul in her mouth. The body didn’t even bother to fall over; she just skipped over to my own body and giggled along with her.

“Rukia, I am going to personally kill you when all this is finished,” I hissed, sending a shut-the-fuck-up glare at Renji as he snickered at our mod souls.

“It’s not like anyone has ever met you before, Ichigo,” Rukia raised her eyebrows. “You’ll make a great first impression with your mod soul.”

“No I won’t!!” I exclaimed, reaching my hands out to strangle Rukia, Kisuke grabbing my wrists.

For a moment, as Kisuke dragged me to the basement under his shop, I didn’t realize what was happening until he dropped me and opened up the garganta. Rukia and Renji grabbed me under the arms and leapt inside quickly.

~Hueco Mundo Arrival~

“I hate sand,” I muttered, shaking my foot as sand piled under the sole of my foot. “It’s the stupidest creation in the history of creations.”

“Says the girl who can turn sand into glass,” Renji scoffed as we started racing across the sand, our new cloaks fluttering around us.

“Shut the hell up, Renji!! As soon as we find Ichigo and his friends I’ll stop complaining. Until then, put up with it.” I spat, giving him my Captain’s glare.

“Sorry, Captain Ryu,” Renji chuckled, mocking me, causing me to yell at him, him yelling at me, for a while longer.

“Renji, Ichigo, shut up! I can see something,” Rukia yelled at us after a while, the two of us looking forward expectantly. When I saw the giant sand thing rising out of the ground, I groaned, jumping on Renji back swiftly.

“Ah! Damnit, Strawberry get off! I can’t run with you on my back like this.” Renji yelped, tripping a little before I jumped off his back and into the air, trying to fly for a bit.

“Didn’t I tell you to shut up, Renji?” Rukia growled, jumping out of the way as I landed in front of her, sending her an apologetic look, as I tried to pick up the pace.

“If I could shunpo, this would be so fucking easy,” I hissed, attempting to dig my toes into the sand to push me forward.

“Get on my back, we can go faster that way,” Renji growled, bracing himself as I flipped backwards and landed on his back, his arms grabbing onto my legs and my hands holding his shoulders as he shunpoed closer to it, Rukia right beside him.

“Here it goes,” Rukia mumbled as we skidded to a stop in front of the giant sand… thing, which I now assumed was a really big ass hollow, and the sinkhole that held Ichigo and his two friends, Uryu Ishida and Chad… something. I never really could pronounce his name. “Dance, Sode no Shirayuki. First Dance, White Moon.” I could barely hear her as she spoke, watching as she sliced out towards the hollow and freezing him as I heard Uryu, Chad, and Ichigo ask, “Water?”

I hopped off of Renji’s back gently and waited for Ichigo and his friends to climb out of the hole. As Ichigo raced towards us, a huge grin on his face, the three of us smiled back. I crossed my arms smirking as Rukia punched Ichigo right as he got to us, going back to Renji and giving him a high five before Renji himself punched the ginger Soul Reaper.

“Are you alright, Ichigo?” Uryu asked as he and Chad stared down at him.

“No… I’m not.” He grunted before Rukia went off.

“You idiot!! Why did you go off on your own to Hueco Mundo? Why couldn’t you have just waited for us to come back and help you?!”

“Because,” Ichigo said as he got up again, “I had no idea if you were gonna come back or not.”

Rukia interrupted as soon as he said ‘back’, “Of course we were, no matter what!!” She paused as Ichigo looked surprised, “Renji and I were planning on coming back from the very beginning. Why didn’t you wait for us? Why couldn’t you trust us? I thought we were supposed to be your friends, Ichigo.”

I sighed, grimacing sympathetically at the back of Rukia’s head. She was obviously pissed off at him, something I hadn’t expected from her attitude in the W.O.L. I glanced at Renji, his face serious as he stared down at Ichigo.

It took Ichigo a moment before he replied, “Yeah, right.” He looked up at me suddenly and pointed his finger at me, “If you two were planning to come back, why the hell is she here?”

“What?! If it weren’t for Rukia, I’d still be researching how to get into Hueco Mundo! I’ve been down in Captain Kurotsuchi’s research place trying to figure out how. It just so happened that Kisuke learned how to a hell of a lot faster then me.” I paused, my expression softening as I looked over Las Noches, “Besides, Nami is in there somewhere and I need to find her.”

“Oh, right,” Ichigo mumbled.

Rukia stood up and nodded, her words firm as she spoke, “Well as long as you understand now. Please don’t ever make me confirm something as silly as this ever again.” As Ichigo smiled and stood up, Rukia continued, “That aside… who are they?”

I glanced at the arrancar like things that were standing behind Ichigo. I frowned, staring down at them as they yelped. The kid in front spoke first, “Huh? What kinda rude question is that? Nel tu!” The fat arrancar that stood on her left exclaimed, “Dondochakka!” And the skinnier arrancar to her right exclaimed, “Pesche Guatiche!” Afterwards, all three yelled out, “And together we make—” A bunch of gibberish.

“You’re not on the same page,” Ichigo pointed out and all three of them began arguing amongst each other, the big worm arrancar starting to cry. I groaned and turned around, pacing forward some before pacing back to where Rukia and Renji were.

“Are you ready to get going? Come on,” Ichigo said as I returned.

“Alright, Ichigo,” Rukia said with amusement. All four of us started walking, Uryu and Chad joining in as we got closer to them. We were a few feet away before Nel yelled after us.

“Hey! Hold up a sec, Itsygo!” She yelled, making me grind my teeth as I turned around, thinking she was talking to me.

“Hey, it’s not Itsygo!” Ichigo yelled back as he turned around.

“If you wait for us, Nel will guide you to Las Noches,” The tiny arrancar declared, holding her arms up, her hands curled into fists.

~Later~

I sat back to back with Renji, my eyes closed as we rode on the back of their… er… pet. I didn’t particularly like it, but it was faster and easier, not to mention I didn’t constantly get sand in my shoes.

“Uh… why is she staring at me like that?” I heard Rukia ask.

“I don’t know,” Ichigo grumbled.

“May I ask you what your relationship is with Itsygo?” Nel asked in her high girly voice.

“Uh… what?” Rukia asked, making me glance around Renji to watch the three of them.

“You’re pretty popular with ladies,” Renji teased, earning Ichigo’s famous, “Just shut up,” and a giggle from me.

“Uh, hey, by the way, where did you guys get those cloaks?” Ichigo asked. “Did you pick them up from somewhere?”

“There’re gifts,” Rukia explained. “I was told that Hueco Mundo’s deserts have a pretty rough terrain and you need protection.”

“Who said that?” Ichigo asked, making Rukia blush.

“My brother did.” She replied, turning the three humans into babbling idiots, pulling me out of my hiding place behind Renji enough that I wasn’t completely hidden there.

“Then… does that mean that Byakuya sent you guys all the way out here to find me?” The ginger sounded astonished.

I remained silent as my two friends carried on, Renji speaking now, “Well actually is was Kisuke who opened the garganta for us. But it was my captain who got us to the World of the Living.”

“My brother said… the only order received was the one to bring us back to the soul society. He said he never received any orders on what to do with us after he brought us back.” Rukia murmured, “See?”

“Woah,” Ichigo was amazed then he got a sly look on his face. “Yeah I see, Byakuya did that huh? Sure has gotten rather soft lately.”

“He also said that it must be unpleasant for the enemy to have that dingy boy wandering around.” Rukia continued, striking a nerve in Ichigo.

“That bastard,” He growled as he punched the arrancar beneath us.

“Ichigo what are you doing punching our ride?!” Uryu barked at his friend.

“That’s right! Don’t pick on BowaBowa, if you wanna pick on someone, please pick on Nel.” Nel tu cried as the arrancar wriggled beneath us, nearly causing me to fall over had I not grabbed onto Renji’s sleeve.

“Gah! Enough!” Ichigo yelled in front of us, me sending daggers at his back as I regained my balance enough to let go of Renji. The ground beneath us began to shake and Ichigo gave an exasperated sigh, “Oh man, what is it now?”

As if answering his question, the giant sand arrancar grew up out of the sand. I groaned and drew my zanpakuto, first one out of the four soul reapers to draw it, and got ready to attack it. Renji sent me a warning glance though, knowing that I was in no position to attack someone at a higher level then me. I ground my teeth together angrily, but stayed behind him, keeping my zanpakuto hidden as well. Yeah, I’m the greatest Captain ever. < --- Sarcasm folks.

“He’s still alive? We’re gonna have some problems with this guy,” Renji said, pretending he hadn’t even looked at me.

“It can’t be,” Rukia denied. “I shattered him into a thousand pieces.”

“Idiot,” I muttered, making them all look at me. “The whole of Hueco Mundo is made out of sand, remember? He is the Guardian of the White Sand, according to these arrancar, so there’s no way to defeat him with a simple attack like that.”

“Oh thanks so much miss talkative,” Rukia scoffed, refocusing her attention on the sand man.

“Stop right there, you’ll go no further.” He said down at us, “I won’t let you take another step towards Las Noches.” He roared at us, trying to sound like a big scary monster, which he was, but he didn’t sound the part.

“He’s made of sand, so it makes sense for there to be more then one of them,” Nel said, basically repeating me.

“Hey! Don’t fucking repeat me you little brat,” I growled at her.

“Calm down, Strawberry,” Renji murmured, grabbing my zanpakuto away from me and sheathing it again as Rukia stood up, drawing her own zanpakuto.

“Dance, Sode no Shirayuki,” She said, turning her zanpakuto in a circle counterclockwise out in front of her. “Tsugi no mai, Hakuren.” As her zanpakuto stabbed the arrancar’s back as we rode on it, it cried out.

“Rukia, what are you doing?” Renji asked, trying to ignore me as I clung to him.

“Sorry, I got a little excited,” She mumbled in response.

“Ah! You hurt him, lady,” Nel yelled as another sand hole started sucking as down. The worm-like arrancar starting going inside and Rukia fell off his back. I cried out, clinging to Renji as he held on to the arrancar, grunting as he put effort into it. I had my eyes closed for the most part, so really I didn’t see what happened, I just felt the sand cover us and then the sensation of falling picked up.

I opened my eyes, grunting as I dug my fingers into the worms back instead of Renji’s clothes now. I hissed as I saw the trees and the black things in the shadows of the trees, already assuming what they were before we smashed into the ground. Renji sat up holding his head and knocking me off of him as I rubbed my back where’d I’d hit it on the ground. “Damn, that hurt.” I grunted.

“Ah!” Ichigo said as he stood up, turning to look around at us, “Hey you guys, is everyone alright?”

“You can say that,” Uryu said, messing with his glasses trying to look all smart.

“Looks like we’re alright,” Renji said smiling as Chad nodded, the three of them hiding me behind them as I stared into the shadows with a freaked out expression.

“Thanks a lot BowaBowa,” Ichigo said, the big arrancar roaring in response.

“Ahh!” Nel cried as she fell down towards us, her head hitting Ichigo’s from the sounds of it. “Boy that hurt.”

“Watch where you’re falling, Nel!” Ichigo yelled at her.

“She’s only a kid, Ichigo, leave her alone,” I murmured, too low for anyone to hear.

“An unfortunate fate awaits you, evil doers!” I heard Nel’s two arrancar friends yell as they fell too. The fat yelled afterwards, “Look out, step asidddeee.” Again, it sounded like they landed on Ichigo as Uryu, Chad, and Renji stepped back, knocking me forward a bit. To see what was happening, I climbed up on Renji’s shoulders and let out a laugh as I saw the crushed Ichigo beneath the two.

“Now that was pretty close,” The fat one said, wiping where his brow should be.

“Excellent reflexes, bad guys,” The skinny one said.

“Hell yeah,” The fat one agreed.

“Can you believe that perfect landing?” Nel asked childishly, clapping a bit.

“Damnit,” Ichigo growled. “Whatever. Where the hell are we? Underground. Wait, we fell from up there didn’t we?”

I glanced up at the ceiling as the others gathered closer to Ichigo. Uryu was the first one to speak, “What’s this?”

“Hey, what’s up, something wrong?” Ichigo asked, all of us turning to look at the Quincy expectantly.

“It’s this tree,” He said.

“A tree?” < ----- Ichigo

“That’s right, it’s the same as the one growing above ground.” He replied, ignoring Ichigo’s stupidity for a moment. “Hmm, I see, the trees above ground are actually the tops of these giant trees.”

“They reach all the way up? Right to the surface?” Ichigo asked, looking up at the ceiling again.

“Have you noticed how huge this place is?” Chad asked.

“Yeah, fact is I can’t see how we’re ever gonna get outta here,” Renji replied.

I glared at the three arrancar as their fearful moans and teeth chattering started up, Ichigo asking, “Huh? What’s wrong?”

Nel turned around, stuttering, “This is… this is… the Menos Forest.”

“Hold on a second,” Ichigo murmured as I cursed under my breath, sliding off Renji’s back again, remembering all the research I’d done on Hueco Mundo. “What’s that, I’ve never heard of the Menos Forest.”

“It’s exactly as I thought,” Uryu muttered, for once pleasing me with his brains.

“What do you mean, Uryu? Can you explain?”

“Well it was very far away, but when we were all falling, I could’ve sworn I saw a group of Menos.” When he’d finished speaking, I shuddered as I stared into the shadows, cringing away from it, closing my eyes tight and put my hands on my ears, blocking out the rest of their conversation. The first thing that got my attention after that, was Renji saying that Rukia was missing. I dropped my hands from my ears and my gaze flew around the area.

(Okie, cutting in the story here. Since Strawberry really doesn’t have anything to do here, I’m going to go ahead and skip some time. Soo… yeah. As I write this, I’m reading the manga and watching the show, trying to catch up on everything and it’s really hard. Which is why it’s taken me five hours to type up one damn chapter… again.)

~Long Time Later~

“Damn guys,” I muttered, watching as the wall in front of us broke from Renji and Ichigo’s combined attacks.

“I’ll take that as a compliment,” Renji grinned at me.

“Hey! What are you doing?” Nel demanded, “The entrance to the palace is just a three day walk in that direction.” She pointed her tiny finger in the direction she meant.

“Look Nel,” Ichigo said, looking at her like she was a dumbass. “This isn’t a visit to a friend’s house. We’re not just gonna walk in through the front door.”

“We also don’t have the time to walk for three days,” Renji added, Nel’s dumbfounded look burning on her face.

“Nel,” Ichigo started again. “Thank you for bringing us this far, but I’m afraid this is where it has to end. If you involve yourselves with us anymore, you’ll most likely wind up being seen as traitors. And so, this is goodbye.”

We raced inside, basically in a line as we ran through the Chad size hole. I caught up with Ichigo and Renji, squeezing past Rukia to talk to them, “It’s great how the hole fights even Chad’s height. You guys plan that?”

“Not… really,” Ichigo mumbled as we kept running through the wall. Nel’s screamed ‘Ichigo’ made the two of us stop and turn around. When I realized once more that she was talking to the other Ichigo, I growled roughly and started running after Renji as he passed by but stopping as he did, bumping into him a little and listening to Nel cry.

“So when she says, ‘don’t worry’,” Renji started.

“What she really means is ‘please worry’,” Chad finished. As I listened, I stared at the little arrancar, a little sad look on my face.

“Fine, just be quiet okay?!” Ichigo grouched, swiping the sad look off my face with just his words alone.

“Jeez,” I scoffed quietly. “Does he just not care?”

“He does, he just thinks she’s annoying,” Renji chuckled under his breath, obviously hearing me when I hadn’t meant him to.

I sighed in response, “Of course.”

“Her voice is getting fainter and fainter, it’s almost like she fell underground or something.” Uryu murmured.

“What do you mean ‘fell underground’?! How could that happen?” Ichigo asked, taking off towards her.

“Ichigo, wait!” Rukia called beside me, chasing after him with the rest of us following close behind.

“Nel!” Ichigo yelled and then I heard those two blundering idiots that Nel hung out with racing through the hallway and people colliding. “That hurts!”

“Watch where you’re going, huh?” I heard the fat arrancar, whose name I didn’t care to learn, say with his deep voice.

“Give me a break, you’re the ones who ran into me,” Ichigo retorted just before we caught up with him.

“What’re you fools doing here?” Rukia asked as she saw the other two arrancar.

“Yeah and where’s Nel?” Ichigo asked, still sitting on the ground where he’d landed.

“I don’t know, we heard her screaming so we came in here looking for Nel too.” The skinny one said.

“Yeah what he said,” The fat one agreed.

“Huh? Then where could she have disappeared to?” Ichigo asked.

“Ichigo, look!” Chad said, catching his attention as we all noticed a giant hole in the ground with a ladder sticking out of it.

“What the hell is that?” Ichigo asked/demanded.

“You mean the floor fell through?” Renji asked.

“No,” Uryu said. “It’s probably an airshaft or something that was built into the floor. Looks to me like she fell through when she ran by here.”

“Damn that kid sure is a handful,” Ichigo groaned, putting a hand on his head. “Why the hell does Hueco Mundo have so many holes lying all over the place?”

The two arrancar leaned over the hole, yelling, “Nel!”

“So what now?” Chad asked.

“Well it’s not like we can just leave her to fend for herself down there,” Ichigo replied.

“You’ve gotta be kidding, these guys are becoming a real pain in the butt.” Renji grumbled.

“You can say that again,” Uryu agreed.

“Mmhm,” I grunted, crossing my arms over my chest.

“Uhh… let’s do this.” Ichigo growled.

~End~

You’ve all watched the show right? Otherwise you must’ve read it at least. The manga doesn’t have nearly as many problems as the anime does. I hate pausing the damn videos to catch what they say and then pulling it back so I can hear it again because I didn’t make it out. So, when we start again, we’re going to start after they split up. I’mma start another one and may not finish it tonight but I will try pretty damn hard. My stomach keeps growling nonstop even though I’ve eaten tons already that I shouldn’t have eaten. I just can’t shut my stomach up. Anyways, I’ll post another one up when I’m finished writing it. I probably won’t get up until late this afternoon since it’s 4 o’ clock in the morning here. I hope you enjoyed it. Oh and yes, I understand that arrancars are not created as fast as I'm making it out to be, but it's my story and I shall write as I please. Truthfully, I think Nami is a bit oped but when I roleplay with her(yes, I roleplay on the internet obviously) I make her weaker with her same personality and she does not have a bankai. To any readers who enjoy Bleach roleplay, I have a site that you can join.
bleach-frost.motionsforum.com < ---- That's mine. My friend also has a Naruto site and a Bleach site.
