~Story Start [Ichigo’s POV] ~
“ICHIGO!!” Someone yelled as I heard my door be kicked in. I just grunted until I felt the hit me. And I mean, hit me hard. For a paper door, it as hell hurt.
“Ow!! What the hell was that for?” I yelled back, throwing the door away from me as I rubbed my head, feeling where a knot had formed already. “Are you asking for a death wish?”
“Wow, for a Captain, you certainly are foul-mouthed.” Rangiku Matsumoto smirked at me, her eyes smiling with that friendly look as I glanced at what had REALLY hit me.
“Rangiku, why the hell did you throw my zanpakuto at me?” I growled, leaping out of my bed as I ignored her comment on my language. “You know damn well that Light Render gets hurt too. She’s not going to be happy when I talk to her.”
“Of course she’s not,” Rangiku rolled her eyes, crossing her arms beneath her huge-ass boobs. “You’re zanpakuto is so grumpy, she’s never happy.”
“She’d be happy if I let her cut off your head.” I muttered to myself, picking up my zanpakuto and ruffling my short red hair a bit as I set the blade up against the wall. Clearing my throat as I heard Light Render squeal a little, pleasure filling her as she thought of it, I spoke louder now and asked, “Why do you need me, Rangiku?”
“Captain Hitsugaya needs you.” She yawned, looking at her nails with a bored expression. “He said that you need to get ready because he KNOWS something bad is going to happen. Plus, Captain Yamamoto wants to have tea with you and Nami and Zilo. He says he has a big bad mission for you.”
“I’m afraid that Captain Yamamoto is going to be rather disappointed,” I grumbled, unbuttoning the Hello Kitty pajama shirt I had on and taking it off, turning around so that my boobs were facing the wall. “Nami and Zi went out for today, on a date. I remember because Nami was so excited about it she came crashing through the door like you. It took me forever to fix the damn thing so I could get some sleep.” I paused, “You didn’t break it again, did you Rangiku?” I was giving her a death glare. Honestly, it was pathetic how everyone was afraid of me. I was the weakest damn Captain in the history of Captains. Scout’s honor, you can ask Nami if you don’t believe me.
“Uh! N-no, Captain Ryu!!” She squeaked before calmly stating, “Well, once you and my Captain are finished with whatever it is you’re doing, I guess you can go alone. Give you two time to catch up, I suppose.”
All the while we’d bee talking, I’d changed into the standard soul reaper uniform and I’d put my haori on. I’d also put my short red hair up in a simple pony tail and pinned it against my head (like the pic in the info), coloring the area around my eyes were dark eyeliner and some mascara.
“Yeah, catch up would be the right words for it. The fact that I lived with him before I moved in here never crosses your mind, does it, Rangiku?” I asked, rolling my blue eyes. When I didn’t get an answer, I turned around quickly only to find that she was gone. “Damnit, I didn’t even hear her leave. Shows how strong of a Captain I am.”
~Meeting Hitsugaya~
“Ya know, Toshiro, I don’t understand why you wanted me to come out here for, it’s not like something bad is going to happen like that,” I huffed, snapping my fingers to indicate the amount of time I meant.
“It’s Captain Hitsugaya,” He growled in return, crossing his arms over his chest. “And I lost Nami’s reiatsu, no matter how low she has it, one of the 13 Court Guard Captains has an officer following her. And this time, it was my turn and my officer lost it.”
“Nami’s a big girl, Toshiro,” I scoffed, ignoring what he’d said about his title. “I’m sure she’s realized that she’s being followed and she doesn’t like it so she put another patch on to COMPLETELY hide it.”
“She’s never done it before,” Toshiro muttered.
“Yeah, well, she’s on a date today,” I sighed. “So why does Captain Yamamoto have someone following her every where she goes in the World of the Living?”
“As a favor to Captain Ukitake,” He shook his head. “He’s worried about his daughter, naturally—“
“Even though Nami’s not his daughter,” I put in.
“And he would prefer,” Toshiro said firmly, glaring at me with his ice blue eyes. “That she was safer then you keep yourself. He knows what kind of stuff you get into, Ichigo; he’s trying keep her out of it.”
“That’s an insult, Lil ‘Shiro, it makes me feel like a bad influence.” I frowned, crossing my arms over my chest this time.
“You ARE a bad influence, Ichigo,” He scoffed, sitting down on the grass. I sat down in front of him, laying back and using my arms as pillows beneath my head. “You just don’t seem notice that you’re influencing people.”
“Sometimes it’s for better.” I protested quietly, my eyes half-closed. “Remember? When I was passing by Nami’s fight with those four guys from 11 and 12? I told her it was best to keep her reiatsu hidden until she really needed it.”
“Of course,” Toshiro chuckled, smiling a rare smile at me. “And after that, you put that bad influence back on.”
“Whatever,” I muttered, hopping up. “I’ll see you around, Toshiro, I’ve gotta go meet old man Yama.”
“That’s Captain Yamamoto. At least give him respect since you don’t give me any.”
“I give you plenty, Captain Hitsugaya.” I smirked, shunpoing off towards the 1st Division Barracks.
~With Yamamoto~
I breathed on my tea gently, cooling it only a little so that I could drink it. Taking a sip, I set it back down and looked at the Head-Captain with guarded blue eyes. “What is it that you wanted to see… us for?”
“Well, I didn’t really want to see the three of you; I only wanted to see you.” The old man mumbled, staring blankly back at me. “Nami Ukitake, the third seat of Division Four, has gone missing, as has the third seat of Division 13, Zilo Ichimaru. We suspect that both of them went missing around the same time as Captain Ukitake explained that his daughter went out with Zilo on a ‘date’, as he called it.”
“Zilo’s an Ichimaru?” I asked, cocking my head. “So, how is he related to Gin? They don’t even look alike.”
“He and Gin aren’t really related, they grew up together for the time that Gin was living in one of the Rukongai. They consider each other brothers.” He stated gruffly.
“That wasn’t past tense. Are you saying that you suspect that Zilo was in on Gin’s plan?” I asked sharply, my hand curling into fists in my lap at the Head-Captain’s silent accusation.
“I didn’t say that… but yes, Strawberry Dragon, I do believe he is.”
I stayed silent for a moment, biting down on my lip hard. Had it really been last night that Nami had told me Zilo had finally admitted he’d had a thing for her… or had it been… a couple of days?
“How long has it been since Nami and Zilo were gone?” I whispered, head hanging down as I sat up straight from my anger.
“Nearly a week.”
“What?!” I yelped, standing up and nearly flipping the table over. “There’s no way, I wasn’t passed out for that long, was I?”
“I’m afraid you were young one. You were in your coma state again.” Yamamoto knew all about my sleeping problems. Every full moon, I would pass out for a week or more, like a coma. Although… I wasn’t sure that Soul Reapers could be in a coma.
“No! I have to find her.” I cried as I raced out of his room and away from those barracks.
~Nami’s POV~
“Please, Zilo? Can I take the blindfold off now, the suspense is killing me?” I begged him again for the two-hundredth time. “I can’t stand the dark anyways, remember?”
“Yeah, I know,” Zilo sighed. “But, no, I’ve already told you, you can’t take it off until we’re there.”
“That’s not fair, Zi.” I scowled, putting on a pouting expression, which didn’t work too well because I couldn’t use my eyes.
“No,” He stated, his voice firm and cold, back to the old Zi’s. I hated it when he got like that, shunning any emotions that would make him happy or laugh.
“Ya know what?” I gasped, putting my hands up and covering my mouth. “I just forgot, I left my money at home.” Yanking the blindfold off my eyes, I took off running, racing at my fullest speed down a side street.
“Grimmjow, catch that girl,” A dull, monotone voice sighed as I heard Zilo yell, “Don’t hurt her!”
Don’t hurt me? Please, how the hell was anyone supposed to hurt me? I asked myself quietly, wishing I’d set it aloud for Zilo to hear.
I yelped as I hit something soft, but hard. Had I hit a wall or something? I’d only looked back for a second and there hadn’t been anything in front of me before…
“Stop squirming, woman!” A deep growl came from the thing in front of me as I tried to get away from it. “Damnit, would you stop?!”
“Let me go!” I screeched, pushing forcefully away from it, which I now analyzed as a man named Grimmjow. “Let go of me, you stupid fuck!”
“Watch your fucking language!” Grimmjow barked as he slung me over his muscular shoulder, somehow getting my hands and feet tied together.
“You watch yours,” I spat. I knew I usually didn’t curse and I usually didn’t use such harsh words or such a harsh tone, but to have this guy packing me over his shoulder to God-knows-where was a serious pain in the butt.
“I’ll watch mine when you watch yours,” Grimmjow muttered.
“And vice-versa,” I growled back, catching sight of Zilo standing beside a large, dark skinned man, and a much shorter and smaller pale ass heck man with very pretty green eyes.
“Zilo, I sure hope she’s more obedient then this, otherwise Lord Aizen will be pissed the hell off.” Grimmjow directed his words at my so-called friend and I stared at Zilo with astonished horror.
“You… you set this up?!” I cried angrily, trying to reach my hands up to the patch on my left arm. “You’re working with Aizen and Gin and Tosen?”
“No, please, Nami,” Zilo looked ready to break down. “I didn’t want this, I only did it because I owe Kira a debt.”
“Izuru’s in on this, too?!” I yelped, my big blue eyes wide with pain and betrayal.
“No! Not that Kira,” Zilo shook his head. “Kira is to be replacing Starrk and Lilinette if they fail as the Primera Espada. I promised that I would belong to Kira if you and Ichigo didn’t get hurt.”
“You stupid—“ I was cut off as Grimmjow hit me in the head, hard enough to knock me out. The last thing I saw was Zilo’s angry face, getting ready to yell at Grimmjow.

Okie, that’s Chapter One. I hope you enjoyed it and I am already working on Chapter Three. I sure as hell hope I don’t finish the series before I can get home. That would mean I would have to write a whole new series to go along with it. :/ Don’t like that idea just at the moment. I will post the next one in at least an hour or so if it’s not longer then this one.
